In response to several customer requests for a report server that could work with the client’s reporting package of choice, we created the VersaReports Universal ReportServer (URS), released to the public starting Fall 2009.
URS is a report server priced on a per-server basis that provides Enterprise-class features, including
customizable security, a multi-threaded report runner, the ability to work with nearly any report designer package for the .NET environment, the ability to be easily integrated into the look of a client’s existing corporate portal, and all configured and used from an intuitive AJAX-based web interface.
The package stopped being sold at the end of 2017 after several releases and insufficient sales to warrant more time on this project.
